One of the purposes of Families Matter: St. Lucie Public Schools Parenting Guide is to familiarize families with resources within our local community. The resources could be local people within our district that support our students, web resources, and our different places that help your child achieve success. This show focuses on parents and families within our school district. You play a pivotal role in the life of your child/children. Today we are going to discuss College Experience-Getting families ready for a successful launch, applying, and helping our HS seniors take those first few steps towards independence. A special emphasis this month is on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs).
