2025 Young Floridian Awards

2025 Young Floridian Awards - The Young Floridian Scholarship Awards Program is a joint commitment between the educational and business communities of St. Lucie County in recognition of outstanding high school seniors and their volunteer efforts. Each participating high school, either public or private, selects nominees for the fifteen academic and extra-curricular categories. These students complete student application packages which are submitted for review by a panel of qualified judges from our community who meet and interview each nominee. The winners are selected based upon the student’s demonstration of outstanding community service and leadership qualities. The St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce Foundation awards each winner a $750 cash prize directly to the student and a $500 scholarship to the college or university of his or her choice. For those winners choosing to attend Indian River State College, the IRSC Foundation awards a two-year Associate level tuition scholarship.
